Prof. Manana Gotsiridze

Tbilisi State Conservatoire Head of the Piano Department

Manana Gotsiridze became a soloist of the State Philharmonic shortly after graduating from the Tbilisi State Conservatory. She continued her studies at the Moscow Gnessin Pedagogical Institute. After her return to Georgia, she taught piano history courses and specialty classes at the Tbilisi State Conservatory. Today, she is an associate professor in the same department at the Tbilisi State Conservatory and The Head of the piano department.

 

Manana Gotsiridze systematically performs chamber music with the "Iber" quartet, Japanese violinist Yuri Kuroda, and Spanish violinist Alexander Detisov. Additionally, she is regularly invited to give master classes in Poland, Finland, Germany, Israel, Ukraine, and Norway. She participates in various festivals and serves as a jury member for national and international piano competitions, both in Georgia and abroad. She has given concerts at Carnegie Hall and with the Israeli Sinfonietta.
